Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky recently appeared on the 'This Week in Startups' podcast and said, “I think [AI] is going to create millions of startups ... entrepreneurship is going to be a boon,”
He believes anyone can essentially do the equivalent of what only software engineers were capable of just five years ago. And because of this, it'll be exponentially easier for one person or small teams to launch and scale their own companies.
Chesky likes to think of it like this: 130 years ago, only a few people knew how to use a camera and so there weren’t a lot of photographs. Now, everyone can use a camera, and there’s a lot more photographs. That same analogy is true of software.
Soon, it’s going to be like a camera, everyone’s going to command it. Now, there will always be specialists . . . but general software interfaces are going to be very easy to control by anyone - thanks to AI.

Will OpenAI's Rumored App Store Have the Same Impact as Apple’s?
OpenAI's anticipated creation of an 'app store' for AI models could ignite a revolution for entrepreneurs and developers. One with the same potential impact Apple’s did after the launch of the iPhone.
This marketplace would facilitate the buying and selling of tailor-made AI bots. And just as the Apple App Store made software development and distribution accessible to anyone with a good idea and coding skills, an AI 'app store' could do the same for AI models.
The proposed marketplace could be a game-changer for businesses as well, providing them with quick, industry-specific solutions. For instance, Aquant, a company that provides software for guiding customers through device repairs, modified OpenAI's ChatGPT chatbot using data from customer support tickets and employee feedback.
This customized chatbot is now offered on the Salesforce AppExchange and ServiceNow Store, and Aquant would consider an OpenAI marketplace to reach even more clients.

Subscriber Submitted Question: "What is OpenAI's ' Playground’ tool I keep reading about in the AI Marketers facebook group? Is it the same thing as ChatGPT?"
Our Answer: These are two different tools offered by OpenAI. If you think of ChatGPT like a smart robot that can talk with you, OpenAI's Playground is like where you can change the settings and parameters for HOW this smart robot talks.
With that being said we don’t really use it anymore. The default settings on GPT-4 are so great there’s really no need to mess around with anything. So if you see any mention of the 'Playground' in older posts, simply use ChatGPT instead.
If you are looking for a more customized chatbot, chatbot UI offers more precise control of temperature settings and parameters. It's also becoming easier to create your own LLMs for even more flexability. But for the most part, ChatGPT will get the job done.

Midjourney is one of the generative AI highlights of the year, and the program received a major 'Zoom Out' update that will let you create even more impressive images.
As the new feature’s name suggests, Midjourney v5.2 will let you zoom out of the image you’ve just created to generate additional content around it. That is, the AI will imagine what the image would look like if you zoomed out as if you were using a camera.
YouTube Announces Two Major Updates
The process of picking that all-important thumbnail for your latest YouTube video might be getting a lot easier soon. YouTube says it’s conducting early testing of a feature it’s calling “Test & Compare,” which lets creators upload up to three thumbnails for a single video and let YouTube experiment behind the scenes to see which one performs the best.
A video’s thumbnail plays a vital role in drawing in viewers, meaning there’s pressure to make it as appealing as possible.
YouTube says the functionality, which is often known as A/B testing, has been a “top requested feature” by its users.
YouTube is Getting AI-powered Dubbing
YouTube also wants to make it easier to dub your videos in other languages by giving you some help with AI. The company announced Thursday at VidCon that it’s bringing over the team from Aloud, an AI-powered dubbing service from Google’s Area 120 incubator.
The tool first transcribes your video, giving you a transcription that you can review and edit. Then, it translates and produces the dub.
