This week's featured prompt taps into something called "Reason Why" advertising. One of the Godfather's of modern advertising, John E. Kennedy, actually wrote an entire book on it with the same name.


Reason why advertising is all about packing your sales pitch with tons of reasons the prospect should buy what you're selling. The trick is to lay out your copy in a clear, logical flow - start with stuff the prospect already thinks is true, then walk them step-by-step to connect those facts to the new claims you're making.

This creates believability by linking each fact together to back up your main point. The reason why method shapes everything in your ad - content, structure, order of claims, proof - by building belief through a logical foundation. Today's prompt lays out that logical path step by step for you with just a few simple inputs on your end.
